Serves 10 servings

Ingredients for the Citrus Syrup (yields 750ml)

300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g caster sugar

Ingredients for the Premix (yields 850ml, enough for 10)

400ml premium vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine cordial (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch

Method

To prepare the Citrus Syrup: Put the listed components into a saucepan, heat until it reaches a light boil, stirring so the sugar melts. Then, remove from the burner allowing it to cool down fully. Transfer into an sealable bottle, cap it and refrigerate it in the fridge, it can be stored for up to one month.

For the Premix: Pour the specified liquids into one large bottle, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then filter it best through a fine cloth, making it fully clarified.

For serving: Pour 85ml of the premix to a mixing glass containing ice, and stir carefully for about 60 seconds until cold. Pour into a cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, top with some cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a brief mist with the mandarin essence over the top.
